Tang Anqi's Dietary Weight Loss Revolution
The Origins of Cosmic Diet
The "natural health method" has been popular in the United States for a long time, and their advocated "high-moisture food combination" has helped many people regain their slim figure and maintain their health.
This method is based on a set of "natural physiological laws" and "human circadian rhythms," from which a safe and balanced plan has been developed. Because everything in life is governed by natural physiological laws, including your body, nature is always right and cannot be changed, hindered, or disrupted. If we want to lose weight effectively and successfully and maintain good health, we must follow these natural laws.
A Harvard doctor wrote, "Meat and starch should be eaten separately." The enzymes that the human body uses to digest meat and starch are different. One is a protease that requires an acidic environment, while the other is an amylase that requires a neutral environment. Eating them together will put a greater burden on the stomach and intestines.
Let's imagine that when the human body ingests starch, the mouth begins to break it down. The digestive enzyme "amylase" in saliva has higher activity in a neutral environment (its activity is strongest at a pH of 6.7-7.0). When amylase reaches the stomach, it can continue to work without much problem if there isn't too much stomach acid.
However, if meat is consumed at this time, the digestive enzymes that work best in an acidic environment (pH 2 is when they are most active). Therefore, once meat enters the stomach, the stomach will secrete more gastric acid to facilitate the enzymes' activity. So, when starch and meat enter the stomach simultaneously, two digestive enzymes are working together. The result is that neither is digested very well, and bloating is likely to occur. Over time, this can lead to indigestion.
The following "high-moisture food combination" is based on the laws of nature and physiology, hence I've named it the "Tang Anqi Cosmic Diet." Applying this method to your life will make you younger, slimmer, more energetic, and achieve physical, emotional, and mental well-being. But remember the key point-treat it with a calm mind and let it become a part of your life.
Cosmic Diet Theory Lecture Series
Do you eat foods with high water content?
You might ask, "How does this dietary approach relate to 'natural laws' or 'universal truths'?" Well, let me first take you on a "cosmic journey." Looking at Earth from the moon, 60-70% of the Earth's surface is ocean and rivers, and 30-40% is mountains and land. The human body is similar; it contains 60-70% water, with the rest being solids. Like many things, the human body is a microcosm of the universe and represents "universal truths." Earth relies on 70% water for life; if humans want to maintain a normal state, they should also absorb 70% water with each meal-this is the "natural law."
However, the water I'm referring to isn't just from drinking water; I'm referring to high-water-content foods like fresh fruits and vegetables. We need water for two important reasons: firstly, water cleanses tissues and transports nutrients, which is why drinking water doesn't fill us up; secondly, water transports nutrients from food to all the cells in the body and removes toxins and waste.
The human body needs nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, proteins, amino acids, enzymes, carbohydrates, and fatty acids, all of which are found in fruits and vegetables. The digestion and absorption of these nutrients require water. If you are eating foods high in water content, it means your food is meeting your body's needs. Besides carrying nutrients to various organs, water also helps remove waste products, which has the same function as detoxification, making it extremely important for weight loss and maintaining health.
Obesity is a warning sign of internal congestion.
What are toxins? Where do they come from? Why do they cause obesity? According to natural health science, they are produced in two ways. One is as a product of normal, natural metabolism; the other is due to improper diet. Both require energy to be eliminated from the body.
Studies show that between 300 billion and 800 billion old cells are replaced by new cells every day. These old cells are engulfed and metabolized, eventually being excreted from the body. This is a natural and normal detoxification process, and as long as you have enough energy in your body, these toxins will be properly eliminated.
Another type of toxin comes from food byproducts that have not been properly digested and absorbed. For example, the processed foods we often eat are not fresh foods, but rather products that have been processed at high temperatures, such as frying, grilling, or roasting. These foods contain components that cannot be absorbed by the human body. These incompletely digested and absorbed byproducts form residues in the body, which over time become toxic waste.
In other words, your body produces toxins every day in two ways: one is from normal metabolic processes, and the other comes from underutilized food. If more toxins accumulate than are eliminated, weight will naturally increase. Over time, this leads to obesity.
Eat more fresh, natural foods
If you want to maintain youth, vitality, and a slim figure, you must eat fresh, natural foods. Fresh fruits and vegetables contain enzymes, which are essential for metabolism and catalysts for many metabolic reactions. However, most enzymes are heat-sensitive; excessively high temperatures will cause them to lose their function. Cooking food at high temperatures will destroy the enzymes, thus reducing its nutritional value.
In short, by consuming high-water-content foods, the body will automatically eliminate toxins, leading to better health and weight loss. If you continue to consume high-water-content foods, toxins will not be retained, and you will not gain weight.
Tang Anqi's Cosmic Diet
Many people ask me, "How can you be so fit and healthy despite enjoying your food so much?" It's because I have a great diet method – the "Tang Anqi Cosmic Diet." Just remember one principle: when you eat meat, don't eat it with starchy foods like rice or wheat.
For example, eating pork chop rice on a regular basis is unhealthy. You can eat pork chops with side dishes, or rice and vegetables. At first, you might not be used to it, or you might find it "bland," but it won't, because the amount of food hasn't decreased. Let's say you like pork chop rice, and usually eat two pork chops with a bowl of rice. But this time, following the cosmic diet, you can eat three pork chops, but also a large plate of side dishes. If you ate meat for lunch, then you can eat starchy foods for dinner; you can eat a large bowl of rice and a large plate of side dishes. This method might seem troublesome at first, but once you get used to it, you'll find it very healthy. And even if you eat more, you won't easily gain weight because your body can easily digest, absorb, and metabolize the food.
