The relationship between enzymes and water and food supplements

Nature created humankind and provided us with a vast array of plants and animals to satisfy our hunger. Regardless of your cultural or religious background, you must acknowledge the fact that all the food nature provides, whether animal-based or plant-based, is never cooked or sterilized with any chemicals.

While creating humankind, nature also endowed us with extremely special abilities, allowing all bodily functions to be used most effectively. However, these special abilities can only be realized when the nutrients absorbed from animal and plant-based foods are in the right proportion. Nature has also been very considerate of humankind in this regard: it has combined certain nutrients that provide vitality and given them various beautiful forms as gifts. These foods, filled with nutrients and dressed in beautiful forms, are what we commonly call vegetables, fruits, rice, wheat, fish, and meat.

Among these animal and plant foods, each food contains just the right amount of enzymes. It naturally contains just the right amount of active enzymes to meet the human need to digest that particular food. However, many problems arise when the food is cooked.

Please don't argue with me now, thinking I'm just talking nonsense! At the same time, I have no intention of advocating that meat must be eaten raw. In fact, what I want to tell you is probably quite the opposite.

As we just discussed, generally speaking, the amount of enzymes in each food is almost exactly equal to the amount of enzymes required for human digestion. However, there is a surprising and very unusual exception. This exception often occurs with the vegetables we eat, because nature has endowed vegetables with an abundance of enzymes and water, making them far richer in both enzymes and water than other animal and plant foods.

Therefore, if we can eat vegetables raw in their most natural state, we can obtain more nutrients through this method of food consumption, thus replenishing some of the nutrients lost when the other four food groups are cooked. This demonstrates the significant role that combining various fresh raw vegetables with other foods plays in accelerating the body's metabolism!

Currently, there seem to be many books published about enhancing the human metabolism, and many of these viewpoints appear to be quite controversial. Almost every book discusses food supplements, often at length.

In contemporary American society, more than 40% of American adults take vitamin and mineral supplements or take certain herbal and non-herbal preparations because they believe that these substances can stimulate their metabolic system, suppress their appetite, or achieve other desired results.

Looking at the country as a whole, the United States spends more than $3 billion annually on the production of these supplements, and they currently rank third in sales in stores.

In general, hundreds and thousands of these products are manufactured to address core issues like dieting and weight loss. Manufacturers not only promise faster weight loss and improved metabolism, but also guarantee consumers additional benefits, ranging from enhanced sexual function to slowed aging.

In many cases, dietary supplements are formulated as pills, but in some cases they may also be available in liquid or powder form. These pill-shaped, liquid, or powdered supplements contain a wide variety of nutrients designed to provide the body with sufficient, or even super-sufficient, nutrients necessary to achieve a certain level of function.

Some supplements can boost metabolism, improve energy and health, enhance physical appearance, and help you achieve other important goals. Many supplements provide optimal nutrition, supplementing nutrients you may not be getting from your regular diet, thus supplying you with the proper nutrients you need to maintain your health each day.

Besides improving overall health, dietary supplements can also enable individuals to concentrate their full energy under optimal physical conditions, ultimately altering metabolism through other specific bodily changes. These goals broadly include:

Increase muscle density. By increasing your muscle density, you can boost your metabolic rate. Even just one pound of muscle can increase your daily calorie expenditure by 209 joules (50 calories)!

Improve muscle performance. Through aerobic exercise and other forms of exercise, you can enhance the performance of your muscles. As muscle performance improves, the amount of fat burned in the body also increases.

Increase energy expenditure. By increasing your body's energy expenditure, you can increase the calories you burn each day. The more energy you expend, the more calories stored in your body will be burned.

People often ask me whether they should use dietary supplements, and my answer to this question has always been the same. Our program is based on the idea that if you can increase your energy expenditure in some way (see the exercise section for details), while simultaneously reducing the quantity of certain foods and increasing the intake of others (see the diet section), your health will be excellent, and your metabolism will be optimized to the maximum extent. You can also systematically supplement your body with health-promoting dietary supplements according to certain plans to accelerate the optimization of your metabolism.

Whether using dietary supplements is a wise move and whether it will be effective ultimately depends on whether you can maintain a healthy, balanced diet and obtain all the essential vitamins, minerals, fiber, enzymes, and other nutrients from your food to maintain your energy and appear healthy. Unfortunately, for most people, the answer is no.
