The role of laser imaging and character mode

2026-04-23

More than 50 years ago, plastic surgeon Dr. Maxwell Moltz made a startling discovery. He personally witnessed behavioral and personality changes in some of his patients after suffering devastating accidents or orthopedic surgeries. Dr. Moltz concluded that how an individual views themselves and how they define their self-image is the absolute force controlling all their behavior and its successes and failures.

As you learned in the chapter on laser vision correction, seeing your self-image through the eyes of your mind is a crucial step in turning your fitness goals into reality. Dr. Moltz believes that this crucial step should be further strengthened. He argues that habitual thought processes related to self-image cannot change without the support of positive mindset and willpower. Dr. Moltz believes:

People who identify as "obese" will have a self-image that demands they be "sweet tooths," making it impossible for them to resist the temptation of "high-calorie foods." Not only that, but this subconscious self-image will also prevent them from finding time to exercise, making weight loss impossible. No matter how much they subconsciously resist the commands issued by this self-image, it will be to no avail.

Therefore, what you must do now is to "reshape" your self-image and return to your true self. This reconstruction of self-image must begin with eliminating those potentially unsuccessful images and reshaping yourself into those that fully demonstrate success.

Furthermore, adopting the behavior of successful individuals as your own behavioral model can effectively reshape your self-image in your brain, leaving you with updated and more motivating "images" of yourself. According to Dr. Moltz, establishing this behavioral model is like the target-tracking function of a heat-seeking missile. First, you have a clear target; then you launch your heat-seeking missile towards that target with precision; ultimately, it will effectively hit your target.

The author believes that in order to make the exercise strategies explained in this book more effective, we must also use the following slogan:

"I am a responsible person."

Only by fully recognizing that you are responsible for everything that happens in your daily life, regardless of any unexpected events, can you do your best in everything. Once you understand this fact, everything becomes clearer, and your fitness goals can be achieved more quickly.

All human achievements, whether in the field of sports and fitness or in other areas of life, begin and gradually develop from the human brain. The human brain is a powerful tool for changing everything in the world; its energy is so immense that people haven't even had time to recognize it. Although these abilities are innate, people may never know how to utilize them.

Self-motivation is an excellent way to develop one's potential, and it is also a personal responsibility that one must shoulder. In other words, it is your own responsibility to strive for positive change in certain aspects of your life. No one in the world can do this for you. You are fully responsible for yourself and for making your life better.

Those who are willing to ignore certain negative emotions that might otherwise deter them from facing life are more likely to succeed. It is important to understand that the powerful force that drives people to strive for success in life stems from their rejection of the negative "self-dialogue" within their minds, from their willingness to use the positive thinking and actions they desire to drown out all negative thoughts.

The motivation for success is not about completely changing yourself, but about generating something positive from the negative thoughts of refusing to hold onto yourself. This means you must take positive action and do things well again and again until you succeed.

Some of today's leading motivational experts, such as Zig Ziglar, strongly agree with this view. In his book "The Silent Success," Ziglar stated that by setting goals and developing the right mindset through positive self-image, we can achieve success in any field.

The biggest obstacle preventing a person from achieving success is their own negative emotions, or the result of making inappropriate comparisons with others. Psychologist Abraham Maslow once said that people win in competition because they betray themselves less often; therefore, you must not make the same mistake!

To motivate and sustain your exercise, you must develop a structured exercise plan to help you take control of your life. If you make your exercise plan too haphazard, it will be extremely detrimental to your workout, because anything done too casually will soon be disrupted by other daily events and eventually forgotten.

Please use this book as your exercise guide. Make good use of the structured content in this book that has now become an essential part of your life, and use the various techniques you have learned in the "Optimize Your Metabolism" exercise program, such as goal setting techniques, exercise journaling techniques, vision techniques, daily diet techniques, exercise techniques, etc., to guide your exercise and enable you to make more correct decisions in the future.

Please remember that the author wrote this book not to treat it as a military manual that must be strictly followed, nor to treat the various exercises described in this book as rigid instructions that must be precisely copied. In fact, the content of this book only introduces a general outline of training. When using it, you must act according to your personal characteristics, your specific circumstances, and your specific training goals.

You must also remember this: while personal success motivation is not something that can be formed overnight, as it requires long-term personal effort, as long as you can persevere in making efforts for 30 days, this achievement self-motivation technique will take deep root in your mind and eventually become integrated into your life.

If you continue to practice self-motivation techniques diligently in the second month after 30 days, then in the process of practicing, you will have every opportunity to have such a motivation for success for life.

The Importance of Self-Decision-Making

It's time for you to decide what challenges you're willing to take on in your fitness journey and what level of fitness you're willing to maintain. You can constantly change your workout plan and perform only moderately, which will certainly result in less than satisfactory results. Or you can accelerate your pace, surpassing others and starting to chart your own course for future success.

You can definitely do it; I believe you can. Don't wait for someone else to liberate you; you possess the powerful inner strength to make your dreams a reality.

George Bernard Shaw once astutely observed:

"People often blame their living environment, believing that it limits their success. But I don't think so, because those who have already obtained everything they want in life always start looking for the living environment they want as soon as they wake up every day. If they can't find the living environment they want, then they will create it themselves."

I have over 15 years of teaching experience regarding the sports techniques explained in this book. In the last two or three years, I have also compiled this kind of sports knowledge into various booklets and books like this one, providing sports information to countless customers throughout the United States. I am very pleased and grateful to my customers for writing to me, and I am also gratified by the amazing progress they have made, as they have told me in their letters.

I learned from your letter that, thanks to the exercise knowledge I provided, hundreds of people have already achieved considerable success in physical exercise and fitness. Much of the knowledge I shared is now contained in this book you are reading. Of course, I must also remind you that many of them have experienced failure. These people bought these kinds of exercise and fitness books and audio tapes simply out of habit, without seriously studying the knowledge contained within. They switched between fitness clubs or weight loss clubs one after another, trying almost everything new. The training programs they participated in ranged from subconscious training to neuro-language training, encompassing almost everything, but after completing these trainings, they never actually exercised.

Why do some people make significant progress in fitness after learning similar content in this book, while others fail despite using the same knowledge and exercise skills?
